Non-Profit Accounting
Nigro, Nigro & White (NNW) provides a wide range of services to non-profit organizations (NPO). These organizations can be non-profit charter schools, employee associations, chambers of commerce, as well as charitable and religious groups. We also work with numerous homeowners associations.
Many NPOs are required to contract for an annual audit in order to provide accountability to donors, grantors, and beneficiaries. The organization may be large or small, and the audit may be required to follow Government Auditing Standards or OMB Circular A-133, but NNW can handle whatever audit requirements you have.
In addition to auditing services, NNW can handle your other needs, as well. For instance, we perform the annual reviews for homeowners associations as required by California Civil Code. We also provide accounting services for a number of NPOs that do not have the time or expertise to handle their accounting in-house, leaving them more time to do what they do best. Many NPOs rely on our expertise to prepare all of their necessary federal and state tax filings, including Forms 990, 1120-H, 199, 100, and RRF-1. And finally, we also assist many NPOs with other various financial needs, such as budget forecasts, assistance with internal controls and implementation of accounting software systems.
We do all this with sensitivity to the unique needs and cost constraints that apply to non-profit organizations.
